Boards of Canada / Remix on "Guero"



Boards of Canada have reappeared again with a remix of "Broken Drum" for the Deluxe 2-Disc version of Beck's March 31 release "Guero". Their remix has a rather straight-forward Boards of Canada sound, but would you really want anything else from a Boards of Canada track? Backwards guitar and well-placed exclamation sounds in a hyper-emotional, slightly unnatural sonic enivronment... Beck himself has said the track is one of his favorite remixes.

Still no official word about a new Boards of Canada album, even though it was announced one would be released late last year. ...Evil!
